Ready, willing & able


"Ready, Willing and Able" (Ray Enright, USA, 1937). Ruby Keeler, Lee Dixon and a lot of anonymous "legbars" typing away.

And here is a reprise in the 1970 movie "Bombay Talkie" (James Ivory), featuring the "menaka" typewriter:

  2. It's new to me too. Wonderful and weird! I want a typewriter shaped like that. (And I see that the more famous "Typewriter, Tip Tip Tip" routine from "Bombay Talkie" was basically a ripoff of this one.)

  5. I already knew the "Bombay Talkie" Version and didn't really like it, but the Ray Enright movie is much better. The typelegs are just great. Thanks for sharing.
