  1. Beautiful find, Georg! I don't even know where you came up with this one :-)

The typeface is clear and crisp, and I envy you your four-bank keyboard; no arduous shifting!

Welcome to the Fraktur Club from Alfred and me :P

  2. Gorgeous! It does very nice work. I do see a tiny difference between B and V.

  3. Wow! Even with a plainer typeface, that would be a nice machine - but the blackletter makes it VERY special. That's the sort of Christmas gift that just keeps on giving! Thanks for sharing it.

  5. This is the most distinctively unique (both the body of the typewriter and the Fracktur typeface itself) machine that I have seen in a very long while.

The sharp angles are very unusual, to my eye at least.

    A fantastic Holiday present.

  6. Thank you all for commenting.
@ Richard: yes, I can now also see a slight difference between B and V. And congratulations on your iPad. Sometimes people conclude from the fact that I use typewriters that I am a complete stranger to computers, and are surprised to see me use a mac.
@ Cameron: yes, this is a nice design. Already its father, the Perkeo 3bank, was a good looking fellow. It always runs in the family...
